The independent Liquids bottle holds 1.7gal / 6.5L while the separate & removable Solids bin holds 3.9gal / 14.7L. A handy hand-crank Agitator handle makes composting a breeze and the smart LED light indicator lets you know when it’s time to empty the liquids bottle. Cuddy the composting toilet does not smell. But. For every critic out there, we added an internal fan, self-closing valve, and reusable, internal carbon filter. Unlike other camping toilets, you do not have to externally vent Cuddy to the outside, but you can still choose to do so easily with a standard pipe.
Asking for a friend: if you stick your nose deep in there… what does it smell like? Curiosity quelled: it smells like the floor of the forest.

When Cuddy arrives in the mail, take it out of the box, remove all the packaging, unlock the solids bin, throw in some carbon-rich material (like peat moss, sawdust, or coco coir), connect it to power, insert a battery, press the carbon filter into place, wipe the seat clean, and you’re good to Go!
